Hailakandi Police arrested two cattle smugglers with 14 burmese cattle

Burmese cattle are smuggling from Myanmar via neighbouring state Mizoram

Hailakandi police arrested two cattle smugglers with 14 Burmese cattle from Nunai FV area of Dholcherra Bilaipur on Thursday night.

Based on a asecret information, a team of Bilaipur Police Station near Assam Mizoram border and arrested two cattle smugglers and recovered 14 Burmese cattles. Burmese cattle are smuggling from Myanmar via neighbouring state Mizoram.

Two cattle smugglers were identified as 30 years Mojibur Rahman Borbhuiya, S/o Lt. Moin Uddin Borbhuiya a resident of Panchguri Balicherra and 32 years Jiaul Islam Laskar, S/o Sarif Uddin Laskar a resident of Kumrakhauri. Police are interrogating the arrested to find out others involved in the cow smuggling racket.
