A Silchar couple survives a horrific road accident in Karimganj as their car plunges into a waterbody off National Highway 8. The incident occurred when a speeding private vehicle lost control and fell into the waterbody near Poamara bridge of Patharkandi area.
An eyewitness immediately jumped into the water to help the couple trapped inside their Maruti S Presso. Despite the vehicle quickly sinking, the couple managed to escape from the submerged car. The incident has caused a significant stir in the local area.
Firefighters arrived at the scene promptly and successfully retrieved the submerged car. It is reported that the couple was traveling from Silchar to Tripura in their private vehicle.
