One dead and five seriously injured in a terrible road accident at Baraigram of Karimganj district on Friday evening.
As per information, a head on collision between two bikes coming from opposite direction takes place at Cheragi Bazar area around 8:40 pm. According to the eyewitness, the collision between bikes takes place just to avoid a speeding truck on the road. One killed and five injured seriously in this accident.
Twenty-year-old Muzaffar Hussain, a resident of Bahadurpur area under Patharkandi police station, lost his life in this terrible road accident.
The Casualties were taken to Baraigram Model Hospital immediately after the incident. after primary treatment, two referred to silchar medical college in critical condition and Hospital and three shifted to Karimganj Civil Hospital.
At present Dipan Roy of 16 years and Abdul Hannan of 17 years under treatment in a critical condition at Silchar Medical Collage and Hospital. On the other hand, 13-year-old Shyamal Roy, 16-year-old Shubham Sinha and 18-year-old Ali Hossain are under treatment at Karimganj Civil Hospital.
