A man killed his wife in Borkhola, Cachar, during a late-night argument. Police arrested the accused and recovered the murder weapon.
A shocking murder occurred in Borkhola, Cachar district, Assam, on Thursday night. Bulu Gwala, the accused, killed his wife, Pini Gwala, following a heated argument at around 11 PM. In a fit of rage, Bulu attacked Pini with a machete, striking her neck and head multiple times, which led to her death on the spot.
Hearing the commotion, neighbors gathered and alerted the Village Defense Party (VDP). The police quickly arrived at the scene, arrested Bulu Gwala, and recovered the weapon used in the crime. The victim’s body was sent to Silchar Medical College for postmortem examination.
This incident has left the local community stunned, bringing attention to the seriousness of domestic violence. Further investigations are underway to determine more details about the case.
