IAF to participate in INIOCHOS-25, a multi-nation air exercise in Greece, showcasing global defence cooperation and operational excellence.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to participate in Exercise INIOCHOS-25, a prestigious multi-nation air exercise hosted by the Hellenic Air Force at Andravida Air Base, Greece, from March 31 to April 11, 2025. The exercise brings together air forces from 15 countries, integrating multiple air and surface assets under realistic combat scenarios.
The IAF contingent will feature Su-30 MKI fighters, along with combat enabler IL-78 and C-17 aircraft, to enhance the exercise’s scope. INIOCHOS, held biennially, serves as a platform for participating nations to hone combat skills, exchange tactical knowledge, and strengthen military partnerships.
This year’s exercise aims to simulate modern-day air warfare challenges and provide an opportunity for nations to refine their tactics in complex air operations. It will also focus on planning and executing combined air missions while fostering mutual learning among participating air forces.
The IAF’s participation in INIOCHOS-25 highlights India’s commitment to global defence cooperation and operational excellence. It reinforces India’s strategic partnerships and strengthens its capabilities in joint operations with friendly nations.
