4 Trains Fully, 8 Midway Cancelled by NFR July 6–13

Landslides between Dihakho and Mupa stations force major cancellations in Lumding Division

🚆 Train Services Disrupted in Northeast Due to Landslides

Train services disrupted in Northeast this week as the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) cancelled 12 trains between July 6 and 13. The cancellations were caused by landslides between Dihakho and Mupa stations in the Lumding–Badarpur section, following continuous heavy rainfall.

According to NFR’s Lumding Division, four trains were fully cancelled while eight others were terminated midway, leaving thousands of passengers stranded and rail operations severely affected.

July 8: 12504 Agartala–Sabroom Humsafar Express

July 11: 10503 Sabroom–Agartala Humsafar Express

July 8: 12516 Silchar–Coimbatore Express

July 13: 12515 Coimbatore–Silchar Express

⚠️ Midway Cancelled Trains:
July 8: 13173 Sealdah–Sabroom Kanchanjungha Express (cancelled at Lumding)

July 9: 13176 Silchar–Sealdah Kanchanjungha Express (cancelled at Lumding)

July 6: 12519 Lokmanya Tilak–Agartala Express (cancelled at Kamakhya)

July 10: 12520 Agartala–Lokmanya Tilak Express (cancelled at Kamakhya)

July 6: 12515 Coimbatore–Silchar Express (cancelled at Guwahati)

July 10: 12508 Silchar–Thiruvananthapuram Central Express (cancelled at Guwahati)

July 7: 14620 Firozpur–Agartala Express (cancelled at Lumding)

July 10: 14619 Agartala–Firozpur Express (cancelled at Guwahati)

Railway officials are working to restore services, but the situation remains critical due to ongoing rainfall. Passengers are advised to check train status before traveling.

Train services disrupted in Northeast have caused widespread inconvenience, highlighting the vulnerability of hill routes during monsoon season.
