A fresh landslide between Mupa and Dihakhu stations in Assam’s Dima Hasao district has once again disrupted train services. The incident occurred on Sunday night, making it the third landslide in just four days on this stretch.
In response, the Northeast Frontier Railway’s Lumding Division issued a notice at 1 PM on Monday. It announced the cancellation of eight trains, mid-route termination of six, and rescheduling of three others on the Badarpur–Lumding route.
This repeated landslide between Mupa and Dihakhu has caused serious inconvenience to passengers, especially those stranded on trains that were stopped mid-journey.

On July 6, 15612 Silchar–Rangiya Express was cancelled at New Haflong and will return to Silchar.
On July 6, 15618 Dullavcherra–Guwahati Express was cancelled at New Haflong and will return to Dullavcherra.
