Rajdeep Singh, 31, an HDFC Bank employee, left a suicide note alleging harassment before disappearing on March 24, 2025, shocking the Silchar community. His father, Sudip Kumar Singh, lodged a missing complaint at the Honorable I.C. Town Outpost, Tarapur, Silchar, Cachar, Assam. Sudip alleges that Rajdeep faced severe mental harassment from four individuals, as revealed in the troubling note and a diary he left behind.
The suicide note contains startling accusations of threats and coercion related to financial disputes. One of the accused, Ritam Sen, allegedly pressured Rajdeep to take his own life if he failed to repay the money with interest. Other individuals mentioned in the note include Abhishek Roy, Anirban Chakraborty, and Abhi Chakraborty.
Rajdeep was last seen leaving his home in Silchar at around 6:30 PM after receiving a phone call. He was dressed in black track pants, a white T-shirt, a black jacket, and red-and-black chappals. Sudip has handed over Rajdeep’s diary to the authorities, hoping it provides crucial details to aid the investigation.
