A decapitated body was discovered at Chandranathpur station in Cachar. Police recovered the body and started an investigation.
On Friday morning, a gruesome discovery was made at Chandranathpur Railway Station under Barkhala police jurisdiction in Cachar district, Assam. A decapitated body, identified as that of Mana Rikiyashan, was found at the station, causing widespread panic in the area.
The incident came to light when local residents noticed the body and informed the authorities. Acting quickly, railway police along with personnel from Badarpur RPF and GRP reached the scene. The body was recovered and sent to Silchar Medical College for postmortem examination.
The incident has left the community shocked, and police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death. Questions have arisen regarding security in the area following the discovery.
