Critical Condition: Two Bike Riders Injured in Horrific Accident on NH-27 in Lumding

A serious road accident occurred today on National Highway 27 (NH-27) connecting Lumding and Lanka, leaving two bike riders critically injured. The swift action of the local police ensured the victims received immediate medical attention.

Details of the Fatal Accident
The accident involved a motorcycle bearing the registration number AS 09 H 8091. The two riders were reportedly traveling from Lanka towards Lumding when the incident took place on the major National Highway stretch.

While the exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation, the impact was severe enough to leave both individuals in a critical condition.

Upon receiving the alert, local police immediately rushed to the scene of the crash. The officers rescued the two injured young men and promptly transported them to the Lumding Civil Hospital for emergency treatment.

Victims Identified
Information available so far indicates that both injured riders hail from Lanka. One of the victims has been identified as Raju Dutta. The identity of the second injured youth is yet to be confirmed by the authorities.

Both critically injured bike riders are currently admitted to the Lumding Civil Hospital where doctors are attending to their injuries.

The Lumding Police have initiated necessary formalities and an investigation into the circumstances that led to the crash on the busy NH-27. The focus remains on providing the best possible care for the victims and ensuring their recovery.
