Record Success: 202 Units of Blood Donated as Minister Kaushik Rai Joins Zubeen Garg’s Birthday Camp

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Lakhipur Assembly constituency unit, successfully organized a mega Blood Donation Camp today to celebrate the birthday of Assam’s beloved artist, Zubeen Garg. The camp achieved a remarkable success by collecting 202 units of blood.

Minister Kaushik Rai Inaugurates Event
The humanitarian program, held near the Lakhipur Sub-District Commissioner’s office grounds, was attended and inaugurated by the local MLA and Minister, Kaushik Rai.

He was joined by District President Shri Rupam Saha, along with the Lakhipur Assembly Mandoli President and numerous dedicated party workers (Karyakartas).

“Blood is Life”: A Statewide Initiative
The successful collection of 202 units highlights the commitment of the party workers and the local community to the motto: “Blood Donation is Life Donation” (Raktadan – Jiban Dan).

The Minister and other leaders acknowledged the statewide effort to host such noble camps on Zubeen Garg’s birthday, emphasizing the initiative’s vital role in saving lives.

Participants extended their sincere gratitude to:

  • Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma
  • Hon’ble State President Shri Dilip Saikia

The speakers praised the leadership for directing this extensive charitable campaign across Assam to honor the cultural icon. Special thanks were also extended to the Health Department for their vital assistance and all the BJP workers for ensuring the camp’s smooth and successful execution.
