Affirming the state government’s commitment to prioritizing child and adolescent welfare, Minister Kaushik Rai today inaugurated and inspected a massive health camp under the ‘Shushrusha Setu’ scheme in the Borkhola constituency. The initiative, aimed at ensuring the good health of the state’s young population, is being implemented across Assam under the direct guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Minister Rai, who is also the local MLA, emphasized the foundational philosophy behind the scheme: “Healthy Child, Healthy Society.”
Mega Health Camp Launched
The ‘Shushrusha Setu’ mega health camp provides free health check-ups and essential medical services to children and adolescents, focusing on early detection and prevention of common ailments.
During the inaugural ceremony, Minister Rai took time to inspect the medical arrangements firsthand, assuring that the highest standards of care were being provided to the beneficiaries.
