SILCHAR, Assam: The DDIPR (Deputy Director of Information & Public Relations), Barak Valley Zone, Silchar, hosted a heartfelt and dignified farewell on Saturday for Dr. Juri Goswami, Manager-cum-Producer of the Cultural Wing. The ceremony marked the conclusion of her distinguished career, spanning over three decades, dedicated to cultural service and public communication in the region.

Colleagues, officers, staff, artists, and former associates gathered at the DDIPR office premises to honor Dr. Goswami’s remarkable legacy and extensive contributions.

Dr. Goswami began her professional journey as a Cultural Staff Artist in Guwahati in 1988. Over the course of her service, she represented the department in numerous government cultural programmes, both across the region and in several states. Her colleagues celebrated her commitment to promoting regional heritage, coupled with her impressive artistic capability and leadership in cultural coordination.

Smt. Deepa Das, ACS, Assistant Commissioner and In-Charge of DDIPR Barak Valley Zone, led the tributes, highlighting Dr. Goswami’s exceptional dedication, discipline, and creative vision.

“Dr. Goswami’s ability to guide artistes, execute cultural projects with precision, and maintain professional integrity made her an invaluable asset to the Cultural Wing,” Smt. Das stated.

Shri Manimoy Dey, UD Assistant, shared personal reflections, emphasizing her supportive nature and meticulous approach, which set a high professional standard within the office.
